Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks

Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks

I don't like walking around this old and empty house
So hold my hand; I'll walk with you, my dear
The stairs creak as you sleep; it's keeping me awake
It's the house telling you to close your eyes
Somedays I can't even, trust myself
It's killing me to see you this way
'Cause though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore

Hey! Hey! Hey!

There's an old voice in my head that's, holding me back
Well, tell her that I miss our little talks
Soon it will be over and burried with our past
We used to play outside when we were young, and full of life, and full of love
Somedays I don't know if I am wrong or right
Your mind is playing tricks on you, my dear
'Cause though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore

Hey!
Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!
Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore

You're gone, gone, gone away; I watched you disappear
All that's left is a ghost of you
Now we're torn, torn, torn apart; there's nothing we can do
Just let me go, we'll meet again soon
Now wait, wait, wait for me; please hang around
I'll see you when I fall asleep

Hey!
Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!
Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore

Don't listen to a word I say
Hey!
The screams all sound the same
Hey!
Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore
Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore
Though the truth may vary this, ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore

Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies

Must it take a life for hatful eyes
To glisten once again
Five hundred years like Gelignite
Have blown us all to hell
What savior rests while on his cross we die
Forgotten Freedom burns
Has the Shepard led his lambs astray
to the bigot and the gun

Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies

I watch and stare as Rosin`s eyes
Turn a darker shade of red
And the bullet with this sniper lie
In their bloody gutless cell
Must we starve on crumbs from long ago
Through these bars of men made steel
Is it a great or little thing we fought
Knelt the conscience blessed to kill

Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies

Ah, but maybe it`s the way you were taught
Or maybe it`s the way we fought
But a smile never grins without tears to begin
For each kiss is a cry we all lost
Though there is nothing left to gain
But for the banshee that stole the grave
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies

I sit in and dwell on faces past
Like memories seem to fade
No colour left but black and white
And soon will all turn grey
But may these shadows rise to walk again
With lessons truly learnt
When the blossom flowers in each our hearts
Shall beat a new found flame

Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies

Whitesnake - Here I Go Again

No I don't know where I'm going
But I sure know where I've been
Hanging on the promises in songs of yesterday
And I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time
Here i go again...
Here i go again...

Though I keep searching for an answer
I never seem to find what I'm looking for
Oh Lord I pray you give me strength to carry on
'Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

And here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
But I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time

Just another heart in need of rescue
Waiting on love's sweet charity
And I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days
'Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

And here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
And I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time
But here I go again
Here I go again
Here I go again
Oh baby, oh yeah

(guitar solo)

'Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

And here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
And I've made up my mind
And wasted no more time

And here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
'Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

Ringo Starr - Liverpool 8

"Liverpool 8" é uma canção de Ringo Starr e faixa principal em seu álbum de 2008 de mesmo nome. É uma autobiografia de Starr com ênfase em seu tempo nos Beatles. O título refere-se ao distrito postal da área Toxteth de Liverpool, em que Starr nasceu.

I was a sailor first
I sailed the sea
Then I got a job
In a factory
Played Butlin's Camp
With my friend Rory
It was good for him
It was great for me

Livepool I left you
Said 'goodbye'
To Madryn Street
I always followed my heart
And I never missed a beat
Destiny was calling
I just couldn't stick around
Liverpool I left you
But I never let you down

Went to Hamburg
The red lights were on
With George and Paul
And my friend John
We rocked all night
We all looked tough
We didn't have much
But we had enough

Livepool I left you
Said 'goodbye'
To Madryn Street

I always followed my heart
And I never missed a beat
Destiny was calling
I just couldn't stick around
Liverpool I left you
But I never let you down

In the U.S.A.
When we played Shea
We were Number One
And it was fun
When I look back
It sure was cool
For those four boys
From Liverpool

Livepool I left you
Said 'goodbye'
To Admiral Grove
I always followed my heart
So I took it on the road
Destiny was calling
I just couldn't stick around
Liverpool I left you
But I never let you down

La, la, la, la, la, la

Capital Inicial - Natasha

Thuru, Thuru, Thuru, Thuru...

Tem sete vidas mas ninguém sabe de nada
Carteira falsa com a idade adulterada
O vento sopra enquanto ela morde
Desaparece antes que alguém acorde

Um passo sem pensar
Um outro dia, um outro lugar

Cabelo verde, tatuagem no pescoço
Um rosto novo, um corpo feito pro pecado
A vida é bela, o paraíso é um comprimido
Qualquer balaco ilegal ou proibido

Um passo sem pensar
Um outro dia, um outro lugar

O mundo vai acabar
E ela só quer dançar
O mundo vai acabar
E ela só quer dançar, dançar, dançar
(2x)

Pneus de carros cantam
Thuru, Thuru, Thuru, Thuru...

AC/DC - Can I Sit Next to You Girl

I met this girl for the first time on Saturday night
Standing in the queue at the Odeon alright
Then I took her by surprise
When I threw her one of my lines
She started smiling and being real fine
That's when I say-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay
Can I sit next to you, girl?
At intermission we were doing alright
Until this guy came up and stood by her side
Then he took ME by surprise
When HE threw her one of my lines
She started smiling at him real fine
That's when he say-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay
Can I sit next to you, girl?
